Sensitive Scopes and Gmail Access
Inbox Assistant requests the Gmail API scope gmail.send only to send outbound emails that the user composes and initiates inside the app, such as lead follow-ups captured at trade shows.
- We do not read, list, search, modify, or delete mailbox content.
- We do not access inbox message history or attachments.
- We only transmit emails through the user’s authorized Gmail account so recipients see the user as sender.
- More limited scopes are not sufficient because sending on behalf of a user requires Gmail send permission.
- Users can disconnect/revoke access at any time, and sending stops immediately after revocation.

User signs in and authorizes Gmail send access.
